With all this cold weather, my skin is screaming for extra hydration. I don’t have one favourite mask or brand, but below are my go tos.
Origins Drink Up Intensive – $34.00 from Sephora Canada
– This is an intense moisture mask that you can sleep in. How awesome and easy is that, am I right? I take off my makeup, wash my face as I normally would and instead of moisturizer, I put this mask on and head off to bed. The next morning, I wash it off with warm water, and I’m not kidding when I tell you that your skin will feel ahhhhmazing.
Origins Drink Up – $34.00 from Sephora Canada
– I use this when I need a quick boost of hydration – usually after the gym or a hike. The best thing about this mask is that it only takes 10 minutes.
Sephora Avocado Face Mask – $8.00 from Sephora Canada
– First of all, you can’t beat that price. Sephora has so many different kinds of face masks that do different things, but this avocado one is one of my favourites. The orchid face mask is my other favourite. I like to use this mask in the evening after I take off my makeup. You don’t even need to moisturize after as the residual ingredients left from the mask can just be rubbed in to your face and it is soooo refreshing!
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – $32.50 from Sephora Canada
– I love sleeping masks because the next morning, I wake up with baby soft skin. Laneige is fast becoming one of my favourite products from Sephora and the price is also so reasonable for the quality of product. Your skin will feel more hydrated the minute you put this gel mask on. Long story short, this is bomb.
So those are some of my favourites. I would love to try some drugstore hydration masks as well. Do you have a favourite that you can recommend?
I do have 2 that I like from the drugstore though they aren’t for hydration – L’Oreal makes really good clay masks and my two favourites are the black and red clays. The black charcoal clay mask is to detox and brighten and the red clay mask is to exfoliate and refine pores. Both really good and super affordable. Give them a shot!
Till next time,
No joke. It does. At least for me. Years ago, before I discovered colour correctors, I would sit in front of the mirror piling concealer on top of a pimple that I just could not leave alone the night before.
